With the rising popularity of all things gin, the celebration of World Gin Day on 11 June is eagerly anticipated by aficionados of the clear spirit with its distinctive botanical infusions. In celebrating this classic drink, the traditional gin and tonic is still one of the best ways to enjoy it, with the unusual Hendrick’s Gin and tonic with a slice or two of cucumber offering a sublime departure from the ordinary.

Gin and Tonic

INGREDIENTS:

50ml Hendrick’s Gin

150ml Tonic Water

3 Thinly sliced rounds of cucumber

PREPARATION:

Fill a highball glass with good cubed ice. Combine all ingredients and give a gentle stir. Garnish with 3 thinly sliced rounds of cucumber.
